G. Alan Binkley, MD, FACS, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He is honored with the prestigious distinction of being a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS), and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
Dr. Binkley earned his medical degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada in 1986. He completed his surgical internship at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada and his orthopaedic surgery residency at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada.
Following his residency, Dr. Binkley pursued sub-specialty orthopaedic surgery training, completing fellowships in arthroplasty (total joint replacement) and arthroscopic surgery at Chedoke-McMaster Hospital in Hamilton, Canada in 1991. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Binkley also holds undergraduate degrees in physical therapy and physical education.
