David Hochschild, MD, FACS, FAAOS is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Hochschild is honored with the prestigious distinction of being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS). Dr. Hochschild is a Veteran of the United States Army.
Dr. Hochschild earned his Medical Degree from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He completed his Surgical Internship and Orthopedic Surgical Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.
Dr. Hochschild formerly served as a Staff Surgeon for the Orthopaedic Surgery Service, Winn Army Community Hospital at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He held the position of Staff Emergency Room Physician at Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning, GA. Additionally, he was a Battalion Surgeon for the 3/325 Airborne Battalion Combat Team in Vicenza, Italy.
Dr. Hochschild has presented nationally. His research is published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Hochschild’s special interest in sports medicine led to his involvement in the Dahlonega, GA community as a Team Physician for several local teams.
